A Solid Foundation

Foundation(s)-founded base on which something is built; to build on a solid base

Jesus teaches about those who build houses on rock and sand (Matthew 7:24)

The Wise and Foolish Builders
Mt 24" Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash."

As I look at this paragraph in the Bible I see Jesus speaking about building a house, I see this house representing our life, and the foundation as God's word. Being a woodworker and a mechanic, I understand the importance of a solid base when building a cabinet and a solid frame when restoring an old car. In each case if the base or frame is not solid the project will not stand the stresses or the tests of time. This is the same - for our life, if we don't build our life on God's word, and the storms of life come which are the troubles and trials, and they will come; will we be like the man that built his house (life)on the sand (world's ways and beliefs) or will we be like the man that built his house (life) on the rock (God's word) and be able to stand the tests and trials of life. I hope we all choose God's word, and take his word and read and study it so we can find God's plan and purpose for our lives. I pray that we build our lives on the rock and have the life God would have us live, a life not of fear but that of Faith, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen

Blog working again

I'm glad to see after much work today that the blog is working again. It's funny how one little button hidden somewhere can mess everything up.

HEARING

TONIGHT I LAY HERE AWAKE, WITH MANY THINGS RAMBLING THROUGH MY HEAD. AS I TRY TO SORT OUT MY THOUGHTS AND THE LORDS VOICE I CLEARLY HEAR...WATER DRIPPING (AND NOT FROM THE FISH TANK), THEN THE SOUND OF RUSHING WATER, LIKE THREW A CREEK. I ASK THE LORD "WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? WHAT DO YOU WANT TO TELL ME? HOW ?" MY MIND FILLS WITH WORDS AGAIN. I NEED TO CLEAR MY MIND OF ALL THOUGHTS.
LIKE MY HUSBAND SAID EARLIER...YOU NEED TO RELAX AND TAKE A BREAK.
TO ALL THOSE WITH MANY THOUGHTD RUNNING THREW YOUR MIND...LET'S TAKE A BREAK AND RELAX TO HEAR....BETTER.

Corporate Prayer

Our Papa has been working wonderfully through the corporate prayer times He began not so long ago. Revelation has been flowing in His people so freely. It's exciting! I want to encourage everyone who has not yet been able to join us to consider how to fit this powerful time into your family's schedule.

We're experiencing some "reality pains" in implementing this consistently, so bear with us as we seek His face for direction. Here's what we'd like you to do if you're wondering what's going on and want to be involved: Call Mona or me (Jan) to see if the church is open for prayer on an evening that isn't already open. On the days when one of us can be there, we will be. On the days when we can't be, there may be alternate venues available (like my house) for everyone who wants to join together. Tuesdays and Thursdays I'll be praying for half an hour or an hour after the meetings that night, so come on out if you're willing and able!

For those of you with keys to the building and transportation, we invite you to adopt one evening while we're going through the transition phase and open the building for prayer on one of those off days (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday). You could post those days on this blog, or announce it on Sunday, or let Mona or I know so we can pass it on to those that phone, or whatever. That way we share one another's burdens and don't drop the ball on the good work that God has begun in the interim of receiving the fullness of His vision for Grace in this area.

And of course, the most important thing is to continue to choose to pray wherever you are, whether you're able to make it out to a gathering or not. Pray with someone on the phone like Holly and Kathleen and others are doing. Pray together with your family for the target areas given to us. Remember the foci He's given us: Restoration of family relationships through the tearing down of strongholds, and physical healing breaking through in our congregation and lives on a real and regular basis. The will of God is crystal clear in these areas and we know that faith begins where the will of God is known. Amen? (More on that later) ;)

God moves when we pray and I invite you to join me in my tenacity to P.U.S.H. (Pray Until Something Happens)!

“Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven”

earth

Hi there! So I thought I'd post a bit of the cool stuff God's been talking to me about lately for "your viewing pleasure". :) I've shared this revelation with a few people at Grace already but I think it's worth considering again (at least for me). I lifted this from some journaling I was doing so the Scripture references aren't there, because this is how it went in my head. If you're not sure where this stuff is found The Book, let me know (or look it up). ;)

The Lord gave us the model of prayer in the Gospels and there’s so much in there we miss because we simply know it by rote and repeat it without meditation. I was considering some other awesome truths of the Scripture when Holy Spirit made an incredible connection for me to The Prayer.
I am wanting to dwell in the Secret Place of the Most High continually as it says in Psalm 91 and I am working through getting revelation on how that happens. With everything, it’s by faith – I can enter the Holy of Holies anytime I choose, I can come boldly to the throne of grace, the veil is open, by faith I can ascend unto the third heaven, where sits the throne of my God, at any time. And Jesus is currently seated at the right hand of God, and he is far above all things, and he is in me! And I am in Christ, therefore I am currently seated at the right hand of God, yes? So, like Jesus, I can say I am in heaven but I am on the earth.

And then the prepositions struck me – in heaven, on the earth. One is IN heaven but ON the earth – heaven is the Lord’s throne and the earth is his footstool – you stand ON something with your feet, but you sit IN something, or dwell IN something. So if I am in heaven that means heaven is in me, right? The kingdom of heaven is within me as the Word says. The kingdom of heaven is at hand, on my lips, in my heart.
So now consider this: Let your kingdom come, let your will be done ON earth, as it is IN heaven. Same terminology. But here’s what the Spirit showed me, consider the pronoun "it'. I've always interpreted as representing the subject "Your will", so it would read: Let Your will be done on earth as Your will is in heaven. Now that I read it like that it sounds a bit clunky, actually, like it should have an extra "done" inserted before "heaven". And the Holy Spirit said, what if "it" was replaced by "earth" instead of "Your will"? So it would read: Let Your will be done on earth as EARTH is IN heaven. WOW. It doesn't sound clunky anymore and it opens up a whole nother realm of revelation! Are WE not made of earth? Our physical bodies were crafted from the dust of ground in Adam. Adam actually means "ruddy", or "earthy". So what I began to see here is that the place where the will of God begins to manifest consistently in our lives is when we "earthen vessels" begin to walk in the revelation that WE (earth) are IN (not on, in) heaven NOW.

So, when Jesus prays "let Your kingdom come, let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven" we can understand that to the same degree that we walk in the revelation that we are IN heaven, IN Christ, IN the Holy of Holies, IN the secret place of the Most High, that's the place and time, that's the same degree that His kingdom and His will is done or made manifest in our lives (on the earth)!
So cool.

Exciting things at Bible Study

P1010053.JPG
Thursday's Manna cafe is bursting forth. The excitment and expectation alone that is in the air will stir your soul. There has been great words spoken and the Spirit has move in the gifts including deliverance as well as prophetic words. Some of the subjects being taught have been dealing with and breaking the root strongholds and also becoming the LIVING creatures of Ezekeil by understanding the vision.

Steve's Back

Dear Friends,

I have returned back to Windsor early, arriving Saturday afternoon due to a serious illness setback and have gone to the Doctor here for a chest xray and bloodwork , as my flu-like symptoms persist.

I sincerely thank you all for your financial, moral and prayer support and I truly believe that I made a small difference to a lot of people while making this trip in faith. We plant seeds and allow the Holy Spirit to water & nourish them.

PLEASE continue to pray for a miracle healing for the 30 yr old son of my overseer Bishop Joseph Mugo whose name is Joshua.

Again, I thank each of you, your support meant everything to me on my journey.

In HIS Service,

Steve Beecroft (Njamba)

Plan and Enjoy

Christmas is coming, are we ready? Start planning so you won't be stuck shopping the week before christmas and can acctually have friends over and enjoy the holiday. Make a list of who you are going to buy for and set a budget. Now this is the tricky part. You have to stick to it. You can find something for everyone at any price. You may need to look around a little but you can do it. Remember, Christmas is not about getting someone a bigger and better gift than someone else or even last year. It is about celebrating Jesus and all he has done. It is about spreading his joy and his love.
So plan ahead and enjoy this Christmas for the first time!
